I’m always digging through scraps of paper, bits of clay, and bad ideas in an attempt to reframe and shape them into something meaningful. The pattern on this small drop of mugs is based on small bits of torn paper.
Also in the latest drop, is a series of mounted ceramics tile pieces and Risograph prints. I’m using more of the torn paper in the prints and then using some reused clay in the tile pieces. I like to use these scraps as a way to create some order amongst the chaos.
