Price - All commissioned pieces cost at least double the retail price. This is to account for the extra time and costs associated with custom work. To get a better idea of prices, look through the Tableware and Art sections of the site. A more exact quote will be provided after you fill out a request form in the next section of this page.
Deposit - We require a 50% deposit before starting work and 50% before shipping.
Shipping - Shipping is included in quoted price.

The full process takes 4-7 weeks depending on options and the final piece. There are always things that can come up in the process that extend this timeline.
- Week 1: Kick-off - Gathering of options from request form and/or meetings.
- Week 2: Proof - Simple digital line drawing proof of piece.
- Week 3-4: Building - This step includes the construction of the vessel, drying, and bisque fire.
- Week 5-6: Glaze - Glazing and final firing.
-
What type of vessel are you looking for? We usually start with a vessel that is in our shop. We carry mugs, cups, coffee makers, planters, vases, and more. Is there something not in the shop you are looking for?

Glaze can get pretty varied so it’s best to reference work already done in our catalog. In general, we have more underglaze color options with limited glaze options.
-
- Color matching - We cannot match specific colors or brand colors
- Limited quantities - Commissions quantities are limited to under 10 pieces.
- No copying another artist's style - We will not copy another person’s style.
- No rush - We are unable to provide rush orders. Ceramics takes time!
